Materials & tools needed
Yarn: Any type you like. I recommend RED HEART Soft or Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn - (4)
5.5 mm crochet hook for Red Heart yarn or 5 mm crochet hook for Bernat yarn
Fiberfill stuffing, Cotton, yarn ends, etc

Crochet Terms
Chain (ch): Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook
Ch-Sp: Chain space
Single Crochet (Sc): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through two loops (2 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through both loops.
Single Crochet 2 together (Sc2tog) (Decrease): Insert hook into the stitch, yarn over, , pull through, you have two loops in your hook, do not finish your stitch but instead, insert the hook into the next st, yarn over, pull through, now you have three looops in your hook. Yarn over, pull through all the loops.
Sl St: Slip stitch

Easy Crochet Heart Amigurumi Pattern
Make a Magic Ring (MR)
R1. Make a ch. 6 sc into the ring. Close the ring.
Mark the first st with a stitch marker
R2. Sc 2 in each sc from previous round (12 sc)
R3. Sc2 in first st. sc in next st. Rep. ( 18 sc)
R4-R5. Sc in each st around (18 sc)
Now you finish the 1st half sphere of the heart, make the second one! (Repeat same steps).
When you finish the second half sphere, slst to join. Do not cut the yarn.
Join together two half spheres with slst.
R1. Mark 1st st with a stitch marker. Sc in each st around. Do not join at end of round, but rather work in a continuous spiral.
R2. Sc 12. Make a decrease (sc2tog). Rep.
R3. Sc 11. Decrease. Rep.
R4. Sc 10. Decrease. Rep.
R5. Sc 9. Decrease. Rep.
R6. Sc 8. Decrease. Rep.
R7. Sc 7. Decrease. Rep.
At this point, Stuff the heart firmly with fiberfill stuffing, cotton, yarn ends or any filling you want
R8. Sc 6. Decrease.
R9. Sc 5. Decrease.
Continue decreasing consecutively until you finish the heart.
Use yarn needle to sew and finish. Sew in the ends.
