This week's short tutorial is all about how to crochet a granny triangle. Perfect for creating shawls, blankets, and even garments! Here's a sneak peek at the steps for this pattern:
**Step-by-Step Pattern: How to Crochet a Granny Triangle**
1. **Magic Ring**:
- Wrap the tail of the working yarn around your finger.
- Insert the hook under the strand and yarn over.
- Pull through to form the magic ring.
2. **Chain Three**:
- Yarn over and pull through three times.
3. **Double Crochets into the Ring**:
- Make two double crochets (DC) into the ring.
- Chain three.
- Make three double crochets into the ring. Do not finish the last Double Crochet.
4. **Change Colors**:
- Fasten off before finish the last stitch and join a new color with a slip knot. Yarn over and finish the stitch.
- Chain three, turn your work and make two double crochets in the same stitch.
5. - Make 3 double crochet (3DC),
-Chain three
-Three Double Crochet in the same Chain three space.
6. Go to the last stitch and mirror what you did at the beginning,
-Make three Double Crochet.
7. **Chain 3 Spaces**:
- In the chain three space,
-Make three double crochets, chain three, three double crochets.
8. **Chain Spaces*
- Continue this pattern, making three double crochets in each chain space between the groups.
6. **Repeat and Finish**:
- Repeat the steps, changing colors as desired, until your triangle reaches the desired size.
- Fasten off and weave in the ends.
